Goals

The main goals of the study were: - Classifying adolescents with respect to the risks of hyperconnection to various digital channels, breaking them down by levels of addiction; - Identifying the different conditions (contextual, relational and individual) that are characteristically associated with the risks of addiction; - Identifying the different conditions (contextual, relational and individual) that are characteristically associated with the risks of addiction to the Internet, smartphones, social networks, videogames and streaming platforms, with specific attention to the factors that underlie a compulsive and dysfunctional use of different types of digital tools; - Reconstructing the etiology of technology addiction, through an integrated analysis of the of the various forms of addiction; - Deepening the generative mechanisms of addiction to the various digital channels through a mixed analysis of digital channels.
