Goals

Ethnographic and qualitative research in private homes has been an unexplored and rather unreflected field within various research disciplines. Nevertheless, it is a type of research that is conditioned by a wide range of issues and challenges, including access to the field, the role of the researcher, relationships with different family members and not least a number of ethical considerations when the site of the research is other people's private and intimate spaces
