Goals

"Research main aim was to investigate the dynamics of experimentation and negotiation of the adolescents' identity with online forums. In particular, we intended to investigate: In particular we intend to investigate: - which identity themes are most recurrent in online interactions; how the narrative features of computer mediated communication can influence experimentation and the construction of identity; - which interactive structures are favoured during online exchanges. The general aim is to understand whether and how participation in social networks can constitute a resource for the definition of adolescent identity and whether it has links with the offline lives of internet users."
