Goals

"Our research objective was to explore the media literacy of the children with one or both parents working abroad, using the skills-based model (Riesmeyer, Pfaff-Rüdiger, and Kümpel 2012). We also took a closer look at the inter-generational interactions between children on the one hand and grandparents (in this case, caregivers) on the other hand with respect to the digital skills and norms.".(Huțuleac & Balaban, 2020, p.40)
